Firdaus’ business model was initially catered towards the B2B audience. They had wanted to transit into the B2C industry as well, so their main consideration was a platform with good traction and a large user base. Carousell fit the bill perfectly.
Cleantric Solutions has been on Carousell since 2018, and provides a suite of cleaning services from F&B stewarding, commercial cleaning, disinfection services to even residential cleaning. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was an increase in demand for home cleaning services. During this time, the Carousell platform acted as a bridge for Firdaus to reach out to his intended target audience.
“Carousell has a large traction and it is a marketplace to advertise our service offerings to this segment of customers.” After utilising the Spotlight and Bump function, he noticed an immediate 3x increase in traffic. “The Bump function helps our business profile become more visible and prominent in the Carousell marketplace. Thus, this led to an increase in sales by at least 2x.”
Firdaus started the business on his own when he was fresh out of school. He worked his way bottom up, and has grown his business exponentially in a short amount of time.
